Setting Up Bundle Upsells on Individual Product Pages

The Bundle Upsell feature displays an offer (via a Button or a Widget) on individual Product Detail Pages (PDPs). IF a customer clicks the offer on the individual product page, THEN the system redirects them to the bundle's parent product page. This feature is designed to increase Average Order Value (AOV) by encouraging customers to purchase a full bundle rather than a single item.

Steps:

1. Enable the bundle upsell toggle.
2. Define the placement scope for the upsell offer. Select whether to display the offer on all products included in the bundle, specific individual products across the store, or specific collections.
3. Select the preferred presentation method: Button or Widget.
4. IF the Button option is selected:

• • Customize the button text (e.g., "Buy a bundle and save").
  • Customize the display location manually.
  • Save the settings.

5. IF the Widget option is selected:

• • Customize the text description.
  • Customize the button text.
  • Save the initial settings.
  • Upload an image when prompted by the system.
  • Save the settings again to finalize.

6. Once configured, navigate to the individual Product Detail Page (PDP) of a selected product.
7. IF the setup is successful, THEN the Button or Widget will be visible on the page, and clicking it will redirect the user to the bundle parent product page.

• Automated vs. Manual Placement: IF the Widget option is selected, its layout placement on the individual PDP is handled automatically by the system. IF the Button option is selected, the display location is customizable.
• Image Requirement Workflow: The Widget option strictly requires an image. The system will only prompt the user to upload this image after the initial widget text settings have been saved.
• Mutually Exclusive Display: The system displays either the Button or the Widget based on the saved toggle state; they do not display simultaneously.
• A merchant creates a bundle containing a teddy bear and configures a Widget bundle upsell targeted at all products within that bundle. A customer visits the individual product page for the single teddy bear. The system automatically displays the upsell widget containing the uploaded image and custom description. IF the customer clicks the widget, THEN they are instantly redirected from the individual teddy bear page to the parent bundle page to complete the bundle purchase.
